#ErasingHate
If you or someone you know has a racist or gang-related tattoo and would like to, but cannot afford to have it covered, I will cover it FREE of charge.
Hate is learned, and it can be unlearned. Beliefs can change, people can change.
I want to do my part to help people move forward from past mistakes. There is enough hate in this world, so I want to help erase as much as I can.

The reason I know that people can change is because I have. From roughly 1994-2002, I was a Nazi skinhead. This is not something that I am proud of, but it's who I was. Anyone who lives around Dubuque knows the racist history in our community.
Growing up, I was very lost and angry. I got into fights all the time. When my parents divorced, I lived with my father and we moved a lot. That made it hard for me to keep friends and find my place. When I moved back to Dubuque around 1994, I fell in with a group of skinheads. It gave me an identity and a brotherhood that I had never had. I listened to their conspiracy theories about the world and bought into the idea of white supremacy. I read all the literature I could find, listened to all the racist music, traveled to rallies and concerts around the mid-west. I was involved long enough to question the validity of those closed minded views and walk away from it.
If this revelation of my past surprises anyone who knows me now, then you know that I have truly changed.
Over the years I have let go of the hate and anger and have learned to be a better person and not judge anyone by their race, sexuality or religion. I've learned to accept people on their merits and especially have compassion for those that are struggling.
We are all part of the human race, and we need to be helping one another out.

Now I want to help others move forward with their change. I am not here to judge you, I just want to help you move on to bigger and better things in your life. Money should not be a factor that is keeping you from covering up something you regret.
I got you.

Peace,

Greg Howell
